Want to get into running but aren’t sure where to start?
Or maybe you’ve tried before, only to end up injured and back at square one.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
As a physiotherapist, I regularly see people who are motivated to start running but struggle to stay consistent because their body simply isn’t prepared for the demands of running.
That’s why I created Run Ready.
Across two sessions each week, you’ll combine strength training, running education and practical coaching in a small group environment.
Throughout the 6 weeks, we’ll cover:
The goal isn’t just to help you start running.
It’s to help you keep running.
I noticed a common pattern within my clinic and the local running community.
People were excited to start running, but many were getting injured before they had built the strength and capacity their body needed.
Others were held back by thoughts like:
“I’m not fit enough.”
“I’m not strong enough.”
“I’m worried I’ll get injured again.”
“I don’t feel ready for a run club.”
You don’t need to already be a runner to start building the foundations of running.
That’s exactly what Run Ready is for.
Run Ready is designed for people who want to run but need a little more guidance, confidence or preparation before doing it on their own.
It could be a great fit if you:
Everyone begins with a free 15-minute discovery call with Jess.
We’ll chat about:
For some people, individual physiotherapy may be the best place to start. Others will be ready to jump straight into Run Ready.
Once accepted into the program, you’ll join a group of up to six participants.
This means you get the motivation and accountability of training alongside others, while still receiving plenty of individual guidance from a physiotherapist.
Over 6 weeks, you’ll develop the strength, knowledge and confidence to start running – or get back to running – with a better understanding of how to look after your body along the way.
Run Ready isn’t simply a running group.
And it isn’t traditional physiotherapy either.
It sits somewhere in between.
You’ll learn how to prepare your body for running, how to manage your training and how to respond when things don’t go perfectly.
Because becoming a better runner isn’t just about running more.
It’s about building a body that is ready for the demands of running.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time to start running, this could be it.
Let’s build a stronger, more confident runner — before injury gets in the way.
Places are intentionally limited to six participants per intake to ensure everyone receives individual guidance.
Not sure if Run Ready is right for you? That’s exactly what the discovery call is for.
