Jess joined the team in July 2023. Jess holds degrees in both Physiotherapy and Exercise and Sport Science.
Jess developed a love exercise at an early age with her family’s personal trainer. Jess has always been fascinated by how the human body can push beyond “normal” limits. However, when testing out the extremes of sports and exercise, comes injuries and needing to look after yourself. Jess knew early on that being able to empower these people to achieve incredible triumphs with a helping hand along the way is what she wanted to do.
Jess started her journey in massage and has moved towards physiotherapy due to the impact exercise can have on not only performance but everyday life. Jess has a passion for long distance running, pushing limits in the gym and being outdoors. Outside of Transcend Health you’ll find Jess either running, kicking life goals with her partner, or chilling out at home.
Qualifications:
Luke studied Physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle after a personal journey recovering from chronic back pain. Years of persistent pain led him to explore strength training, body awareness, and self-directed learning, ultimately helping him overcome his own injuries and inspiring him to help others do the same.
Luke believes that movement is medicine. His approach focuses on helping people move freely and confidently, regain strength, and return to the activities that bring meaning to their lives. He empowers clients through education and progressive rehabilitation, helping them take charge of their recovery and build long-term resilience.
Outside the clinic, Luke is a musician and songwriter who plays in a local band. He loves staying active through strength training, rock climbing, and spending time outdoors. You’ll often find Luke with a guitar in hand or upside down in a handstand at the park.
